Cultural Centre With the eagerly anticipated launch of the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre planned for October of next year, the focus is now on developing the cultural program and the appointment of permanent staff for the Cultural Centre team. While construction is proceeding at a pace, inclement weather not withstanding, the new Cultural Centre Director, Paul Brinkman, is making great progress with planning the first program of activities for the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre. A recent development is the opening of the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre Program office underneath the Katoomba Library at Shop 2, Katoomba Civic Centre Arcade, conveniently located on Katoomba Street and close to the construction site. The new office provides the opportunity for the public to view the development plans, building model and proposed program of activities in the lead up to the grand opening. |
